The exhibition will take place at Ilkley Arts Studio at 4, Castle Yard over the weekend of Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24, offering visitors a chance to view and buy work by a new generation of artists.

The New Muse Gallery has built a reputation locally for providing a platform for young and early‑career creatives, bringing together a mix of painters, photographers and makers in an accessible, informal setting.

The concept behind the gallery is simple — to give artists at the beginning of their careers an opportunity to exhibit their work publicly, often for the first time, without the costs typically associated with traditional galleries.

Previous events have featured a wide variety of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture and photography, with exhibitors ranging from art students to independent creators from across Yorkshire.

Visitors can expect a similarly diverse line‑up this May, with original artworks available to purchase directly from the artists including: Eloise Hall, Scarlett Smith, Elisabeth Cook, Toni Fern, Ellie Dennis, Niamh O’Hearne, Edie Edson and Ivy Cooper.

The exhibition runs on both days from 10am to 5pm, and entry is free.
