As retirement ages increase in Europe, Ireland looks likely to follow suit

Denmark may have already legislated to raise its state pension age to 70 by 2040, but many Irish workers are already bracing themselves for something similar.
Almost one in five people do not believe they will be able to afford to retire until they are 70, while 62pc say retiring before the state pension age of 66 feels out of reach.
