A Donegal man has appeared in court charged with 10 breaches of a domestic violence order.
The man, who cannot be named due to the nature of the charges, was brought to Letterkenny District Court this week.
A Garda gave evidence of arrest, charge and caution during a brief appearance before Judge Emile Daly.
The man was arrested at his home address on Monday, May 11 before being charged at a Garda Station in the county and conveyed to the court.
The court heard that the man made no reply when the 10 charges were read to him.
The accused was represented by solicitor Mr Rory O’Brien.
There were no objections to bail and the man was released on his own bond of €150 nil cash on condition that he: abide by the domestic violence order; have no contact with the alleged injured party; reside at an address given to Gardai; be contactable 24-7 by telephone; signs on once a week at a named Garda station; and remain of sober habits.
The case was adjourned to the July 13 sitting of Letterkenny District Court.
