Who knows what sparks creative minds to produce works of beauty, whether in art, theatre, dance, literature or music? Years before he won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for Falling Slowly from the movie Once, Hansard penned a lesser known work named after a house in Blackrock which, according to the current owners, he visited in the late 1980s.

While it didn’t make it on to the band’s early albums, The Frames played it at their 25th anniversary shows at the Iveagh Gardens in 2015. The name of the song? 15 Seafort Parade.
