Ryanair boss Michael O’Leary has said passengers should not be paying for airport lounges and air bridges they “don’t want”, as he warned weaker airlines could go bust if fuel prices remain elevated amid the Iran crisis.

Speaking at a press conference today dominated by his own complaints about the DAA’s €5.6bn expansion plans for Dublin Airport, Mr O’Leary repeatedly argued Ryanair passengers cared more about cheap fares and fast boarding than upgraded airport facilities.
