Michael Jackson earns a second consecutive week at Number 1 with 2005 compilation The Essential Michael JacksonThriller also moves into the Top 5 (5), as Bad elevates two (6). There’s also a fresh inclusion for 1979’s Off The Wall, which returns to the Top 40 for the first time since his death in 2009 (39).  

Sheffield-born outfit Reverend And The Makers bag a third Top 10 album with Is This How Happiness Feels? (7). The five-piece’s eighth LP, it joins 2007 debut The State of Things and 2023’s Heatwave In The Cold North in their Top 10 tally. 

Moreover, Is This How Happiness Feels? tops the Official Independent Albums Chart and both the Official Albums Vinyl Chart and Official Record Store Chart, shifting the most on wax and in independent record stores over the past seven days. Huge congratulations to the lads!

Harry Styles’ former Number 1 project Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. pierces the Top 10 once again in anticipation of his Together, Together Tour, which kicks off this weekend in Amsterdam (9).  

It’s an eighth Top 20 for Katy Perry and her compilation The One That Got The Plays, containing some of the superstar’s greatest hits (13). 2010’s Teenage Dream also scales three spots in the process (36). 

It’s a maiden main chart entry for Ipswich five-piece Basement, as their first release in eight years, WIRED, lands at Number 16. 

Chris Brown earns his 12th Top 40 with 12th studio set, BROWN (17).  

Following the official cinematic release of Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour, Billie Eilish’s former chart-topper Hit Me Hard And Soft is back in the main standings (32).  

Finally, huge kudos goes to Manchester’s The Covasettes, who make their first appearance inside the Top 40 as Honeymoon Forever glides to Number 34.
