Just €24m of €755m owed by ‘Baron of Ballsbridge’ is recovered after drawn-out proceedings

The long-running US bankruptcy of Seán Dunne is finally at an end with a trustee’s report confirming just €24.1m of the €755m owed by the Celtic Tiger-era property developer has been recovered.
Lawyers were the big winners from the 13-year bankruptcy process, with €10.5m of the sum recouped being expended on administration expenses.
