Casualty spoilers follow.
After a short break, Casualty is back on our screens next week. Stevie discovers that she made a serious medical mistake and Matty covered for her. Meanwhile, Faith is terrified when baby Pearl takes a turn for the worse, and Nicole makes a discovery about a patient.
Here is our round-up of all the biggest moments coming up next week, in the latest episode of the current boxset, ‘Lethal Legacy’.
1. Stevie realises her mistake

Matty and Stevie continue their secret fling, kissing in a lift before returning to work. While treating a patient, Stevie realises that Dylan doesn’t trust Matty to perform a medical procedure. When she questions him on this, Dylan admits that Matty recently overdosed a child with morphine.
Stevie encourages Dylan to do the right thing and report the mistake, but she is shocked when Matty later tells her that it was her error and he covered for her. She confirms that it’s true when she checks patient records, and fears that her new medication is to blame for her mistake. Will Stevie come clean about what happened – even if it means exposing her and Matty’s romance?
2. Faith gets a scare

Faith is looking forward to Pearl being discharged from the neonatal unit soon, but Rash says that her baby needs to learn how to feed properly first. She supports a fellow mother on the unit, whose premature baby needs a lumbar puncture. But during the procedure, Faith’s worst nightmare comes true when Pearl starts choking.
Meanwhile, Iain’s phone is stolen while he is on a callout, and things go very wrong when he chases the culprit. But as he misses calls from Faith and the hospital, with baby Pearl be okay?

3. Nicole opens up

With building paused on the Wyvern Hill Estate after toxic barrels were discovered, concerned Nicole gets on with her job and breaks up an altercation in reception – but she soon makes a devastating discovery about a difficult patient.
Nicole later talks to Jodie about her troubled childhood and admits that putting down a deposit on a house meant a lot to her. As a situation develops, can Nicole and Jodie get to the bottom of it?
4. Teddy tells a lie

Teddy is still struggling following the dramatic siege in the ambulance station, and experiences flashbacks from the traumatic event. Jacob asks him about how his meeting with his dad, and he says that it went well – but viewers know that he never saw his father in the end. Will Teddy be honest with his colleagues?
5. Rash feels guilty

Rash has been tasked with baby Zac’s death certificate, and he seeks advice from Dylan. He explains that he feels guilty about having to list alcohol as a contributing factor, even though he believes that chemicals were the primary cause of Zac’s death. Dylan says he had no choice but to list the medical evidence, but will Rash continue pushing for the truth?
6. Flynn launches an investigation

Flynn was disturbed by the bruises he spotted on Connor, one of Jack’s soldiers, and he grew even more concerned after Jack intervened when he tried to talk to fellow soldier Rory. This week, Flynn calls the Army, seeking information about Connor’s injuries. Will he get the answers he is looking for?
Casualty airs on Saturday nights on BBC One and now streams first on BBC iPlayer, where episodes are released at 6am on the day of transmission.
