Offaly hurling boss Johnny Kelly dedicated a famous Leinster SHC victory over Wexford to their stricken captain Charlie Mitchell after “a really hard and emotional rollercoaster of a week”.
Mitchell fell ill after playing in the Faithful’s draw against Kilkenny last Sunday but his team-mates stood up in his absence to record a first championship win over Wexford since 2012.
