Gordon Ramsay is known for two things: being a chef and absolutely exploding at people.
The “Hell’s Kitchen” host has been on TV since the 1990s, so it would be understandable if some of his bigger blowups and more iconic lines had actually been written for him (anyone remember, “This f—ing pigeon’s [so] that raw it can still fly”?).
Yet, the celebrity chef says none of those moments were planned in advance. “I promise you, nothing’s scripted,” he told PauseRewind’s Sabra Satz-Kojis. “When you’re dealing with such numpters and it’s unscripted drama, you have no idea what’s coming.”
In fact, Ramsay prefers it that way. “I’m good and at my best when the s—t hits the fan because I’ve been in that situation so many times,” he revealed.
After over two decades on TV, there isn’t much Ramsay hasn’t accomplished in life. He’s hosted unscripted shows, acted in comedies like “New Girl” and “Big Hero 6: The Series,” and currently holds eight Michelin stars, making him one of the greatest chefs in the world. However, he does have one unrealized dream. “The only thing I haven’t got to do yet–I’ve been a massive car nut–is get inside a Formula One, F1 car,” he admitted. “Which I think may be doing that at the end of the year.”
He added, “After that, that is every box in the world ticked off.”
“Hell’s Kitchen” season 25 airs this fall on Fox.
