Oakfield Park in Raphoe was pulsing with non-stop music and fun yesterday for the first day of Oakfest.
The family frendly music festival drew crowds to the park for a day of rock, folk, dance and plenty of nostalgic hits.
Headliners Wet Wet Wet had everyone dancing in the rain. Boney M, with founding member Maizie Williams at the helm, had the whole place boogying like there was no tomorrow.
The day was packed with back-to-back performances on both stages featuring The Whistling Donkeys, Racey, Super Ceili, Davy K Project and the Shlacks.
“Day 1 of Oakfest 2025 was nothing short of incredible – amazing music, brilliant energy, and the best crowd we could ask for,” said Oakfest organisers.
The good news is that the music and craic start again today from 2.30pm!
Don’t miss the chance to enjoy an unforgettable day of the best tribute acts this Sunday. Last remaining single tickets are out now at: https://oakfieldpark.com/oakfest/
