Molly-Mae Hague fans were impatiently tuning in to his fight last night to hear what she and Tommy Fury have named their second baby. The former Love Island star, who also shares daughter Bambi with the boxer, previously told fans they would “hate” the name.

Boxer Tommy promised to reveal the name on his shorts. In fact, he went one better with the name ‘MIDAS’ emblazoned across the back of his jacket. Fans who stayed up late for the fight – or to hear the name – quickly had their say online.

There had been a string of fights to get through before the baby name reveal, including one featuring the Ibiza Final Boss, meaning the big announcement has been pushed back repeatedly. Tommy’s fight against former world’s strongest man Eddie Hall aired at around midnight.

One fan wrote: “Are the only people waiting for the Tyson Fury Eddie Hall fights just the girls waiting for the baby name reveal? Well played Molly-Mae.” Another joked as the stream – which is a pay-per-view broadcast on DAZN – wore on: “Why are all these men fighting at the Molly Mae baby name reveal?”

Back in March, Molly-Mae hopped on a vlog to tell fans that she and Tommy had chosen a name. The 26-year-old said: “I think we’re pretty much set on a name now, which is crazy.”

She added that she did not think people would like it: “I also just can’t wait for everyone to hate it. Obviously it’s a different name – we were never going to call our baby just an ordinary name, that was never going to happen.

“I’ve only ever heard of one other baby being called this name. I can’t wait for everyone to probably dislike it and be like, ‘What?’ But it was never going to be an ordinary name, guys, let’s be honest.”

This isn’t the first time Molly-Mae and Tommy have sparked conversation about baby names, as their choice for their first child, Bambi, also caused divided opinion online. At the time, Kerry Katona wrote in her OK! column that she was “not a fan of the name”.

“I think Bambi Fury sounds a bit ridiculous,” she said. “It reminds me of the Disney film where the mother gets shot! The poor kid might get some stick in school. If they haven’t registered the name yet, maybe they should consider changing it. But each to their own.”

However, others, like Peter Andre, thought the name was cute. In his OK! column, he wrote: “Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury split opinion last week by naming their baby girl Bambi. Now, I am not one to talk about giving your child an alternative name when my kids are called Princess and Junior!

“However, a child’s name is a personal choice. Bambi is a cute little deer, at the end of the day! I just think, why not? It’s up to them. Everyone else can have their opinion but it’s irrelevant.”

Tommy’s brother Tyson has also picked unique names for his children. Their daughters are all named after locations – Venezuela, 16, Valencia, eight, and Athena, four. Meanwhile, all the boys share the first name Prince – Prince John James, 15, Prince Tyson II, nine, Prince Adonis Amaziah, seven, and Prince Rico Paris, two.

Molly-Mae and Tommy welcomed their second child in June 2026 and announced the news via an Instagram post. Molly-Mae shared a picture of her, her fiancé and their daughter, and wrote: “….and then there were 4,” with a white love heart.
