The EU technology sector is under serious threat following reports that China has “acquired” a cutting-edge chip manufacturing machine built by Dutch firm ASML.
According to intelligence gathered by the US government, Beijing is said to have somehow obtained one of the company’s Extreme Ultraviolet Lithography machines, violating American trade controls on China.
