Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will return to the UK in the coming weeks, but three royals are reportedly dreading their arrival.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be visiting the UK with their children Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, between July 6 and July 10 in a rare return trip as a family.
Harry, Meghan and their two children will be embarking on the trip to attend the One Year To Go Invictus events in Birmingham.
They have also reportedly been invited to stay at Buckingham Palace by Harry’s father King Charles.
Even though the trip will be the first time they have returned to the UK as a family for the first time in almost four years, there are three members of the royal family that are not happy with the visit.
Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Catherine will be “raging” over Harry and Meghan’s upcoming transatlantic trip.
“Camilla, William and Catherine will show dignity and grace if a meeting is arranged I’m sure – as they always do – but deep down they must be raging,” The Express reports.
In Harry’s infamous memoir, Spare, he landed several attacks on his family.
The Duke of Sussex branded Camilla a “villain”, “dangerous” and a “wicked stepmother”.
He wrote: “I had complex feelings about gaining a step parent who, I believed, had recently sacrificed me on her personal PR altar. In a funny way I even wanted Camilla to be happy. Maybe she’d be less dangerous if she was happy?”
Elsewhere in the book, he claimed there was a rift between Meghan and Catherine, and said his brother had once knocked him to the floor.
Following the revelations in Spare, Camilla, William and Catherine are reportedly not looking forward to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s return.
It comes after The Times reported Camilla will be “staying well clear” of Harry and is “unlikely to get involved” in any conversations with the Sussexes during their stay.
The publication also predicted Camilla may opt to stay at her private Ray Mill residence in Wiltshire, far away from her stepson and his family.
Harry has made sporadic trips back to his home country in the six years since quitting royal duties, but Meghan, Archie and Lilibet often stay home.
It has been almost four years since the Duchess of Sussex’s last UK visit – and Lilibet’s only visit – in September 2022.
Archie, seven, was born in the UK and spent most of the first year of his life there, while his sister Lilibet, five, was born in the US.
