This dramatic video shows a bear fresh out of hibernation sliding down a snowy slope toward a valley.The footage shows the bear sliding and running across the snow as it descends the mountain in search of food after months of winter dormancy. In the distance, a group of climbers can be heard reacting as guides quickly assess the situation.To prevent the animal from approaching the tour group, one of the guides fires a signal flare and moves carefully in the bear’s direction, using noise and light to encourage it to change course. Shouts and loud calls echo across the snowy landscape as the bear continues its descent.Despite the tense moment, the group maintains a safe distance while observing the animal’s movement across the open terrain.Encounters like this are not uncommon in remote parts of Kamchatka, where bears frequently emerge from hibernation and travel long distances in search of food sources after winter.The videographer said: “A bear had just emerged from hibernation. It was running down the slope toward the valley, where there was food available. “Guides leading a group to the summit fired a signal flare to scare the bear off and prevent it from approaching the tourists.”
