Thanks to NDAs and a buttoned-up inner circle, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding plans are under tighter wraps than a surprise album drop.
Maybe it’ll happen on July 3 (that’s looking likely after the Associated Press obtained a permit detailing the event’s schedule). Maybe at Madison Square Garden. Maybe celebrity event planner Mark Seed is involved. Maybe Blake Lively has been left off the guest list.
Maybe none of the above is true.
Whatever “Tayvis” has planned, the public isn’t in on it. So while Swifties continue searching for wedding Easter eggs, we decided to take a different approach.
We asked a panel of kids, ranging in age from 6 to 11, to predict all the elements of Swift’s dream wedding — from the menu and first-dance song to the budget and honeymoon destination.
We also asked them to sketch the wedding dress they think Swift should wear, with results ranging from “hire her immediately” to a half-baked idea abandoned for a playdate.
The kids may have agreed to do it in hopes of scoring an invite to the wedding of the decade. Taylor, if you’re reading this instead of, say, finalizing seating charts or the live performers, we have their contact information. They’ll arrive armed with friendship bracelets, concert tees and flower-girl ambition.
Spoiler: The kids really want Taylor’s cats at the wedding, couldn’t agree on whether Travis is “the one” and proposed a wedding budget ranging from $200 to “a billion thousand dollars.”
Here’s what our young wedding planners came up with.
👰 Nine Swifties. Eight dresses.
One kid submitted a sketch and skipped the interview. Another answered every question but never found time to draw.
Avery, 11, loves to draw like nobody’s business and was recently told she looked like a young Taylor Swift at her fifth grade dance.
Essential features: “Strapless, sparkle and a train.”
Avery’s vision for Taylor’s dress is an icy blue-and-white strapless gown with a sweetheart neckline, subtle sparkle and a dramatic train.

Everleigh, 6, has already seen Swift in concert — though she slept through all of Folklore.
Essentials: “Flowers, pearls, butterflies. A short dress.”

Rachel, 11, is a lifelong Swiftie who dreams of following in her idol’s footsteps. When she’s not at dance or music class, she’s writing songs and belting them out at home.
Essentials: “Frills. Taylor is lighthearted and fun and I think that frilly, fluffy dresses show that.”

Jolie, 7, loves Taylor Swift and may have picked up a thing or two from her entertainment-reporter mom, including the value of a good celebrity decoy.

Ella, 9, may have a future as a celebrity matchmaker as she isn’t sold on Travis being “the one” for Taylor. She skipped the dress-design portion of the assignment and went straight to the opinions.
Essentials: “Flowers and pearls — and a veil.”
Lydia, 6, believes in love and Taylor, but not my silly questions. She drew the dress and left the questions a blank space, baby.

Gigi, 11, is a theater kid who’s been singing “Shake It Off” since nursery school dance parties — and loves cats every bit as much as Taylor does.
Essentials: “Butterflies, flowers and definitely glass slippers. She should also wear hidden Chiefs merch — like a bracelet with his number (87).”

Charlotte, 7, loves Taylor Swift, sparkles and the idea of giving every wedding guest a puppy.

Lucy, 10, saw Taylor in concert and predicted weeks ahead of time that “The Best Day” would be the surprise song.
