We’re still only getting teeny pink-tinged glimpses inside MSG for Taylor Swift’s wedding to Travis Kelce. But folks have started arriving, and a wedding party color scheme is emerging. Swift and Kelce’s bffs, Abigail Anderson and Ross Travis respectively, left their hotels in a color that could be somewhat familiar to Swifties. Is it wine, burgundy, or maroon? That’s for the courts to decide.

Swift’s history with the color is well-documented. The song “Maroon” appears on Midnights, produced by wedding-attender Jack Antonoff. The song describes Swift’s romance with an unnamed fella and also with the city of New York. That romance turned sour, but with the Tayvis nuptials, Swift appears to healing her relationship to NYC and to various hues of red and pink. Most recently, Swift wore maroon to see Maya Rudolph in Oh, Mary! Kelce has also been papped on a date with Swift in a maroon tracksuit. Here’s to more dancing in New York, no shoes.
