JENNIFER Lopez fans have been left stunned after learning they’ve been crooning the wrong song lyrics for 15 years.

The music mishap is to do with her 2011 smash hit On The Floor featuring rapper Pitbull from her from album Love?.

The much-loved track, which samples the 1981 Bolivian song ‘Llorando se fue’ by Los Kjarkas, has remained a massive party anthem since its release.

But for years, fans have been singing the lyrics wrong, with Capital radio hosts Sian Welby, Chris Stark and Jordan North revealing the correct words to shocked listeners.

“‘Tonight me gonna get on the floor’,” they speculated the lyrics to be.

Sian said: “Personally I would have said ‘Tonight we gonna get on the floor’.”

The trio then listened to the song, which revealed the correct lyrics to be: “Tonight we gonna be it on the floor.”

They further confirmed the lyrics are: “We’re gonna be it.”

Sharing the moment of awakening online on Capital’s Instagram page, their caption read: “We’ve been getting the lyrics wrong for 15 years.”

Fans then flocked to the comments section to react to the hilarious revelation.

“I always thought it was ‘Tonight we gonna get hit on the floor’,” said one person.

“I always heard.. ‘Tonight we gonna hit on the floor’,” echoed another.

“I thought it was ‘lit on the floor’,” said a third.

“Well that makes a lot more sense to what I’ve been singing – ‘Tonight we gonna be get on the floor’,” wrote a fourth.

While a fifth said: “I’m never going to hear the song in the same way.”

But not everyone was surprised by the lyric reveal.

“For the first time in my life I’ve been singing it right,” bragged one in the comments section.

“Wait, I’ve right this whole time? This has been one of those where I just sing whatever,” confirmed another.
