The list of nominations for the 2026 Primetime Emmys has been released, and Star Wars: Visions and Maul: Shadow Lord have been recognized. In the category of “Outstanding Animated Program,” Star Wars: Visions and the episode titled “Black” were placed among five other notable animated programs. And in the category of “Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation,” Maul: Shadow Lord received recognition, specifically for its tenth episode, “The Dark Lord.”

The list of winners will be announced on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. As far as other shows listed, The Pitt leads the way with 25 nominations. Hacks comes in at second with 24. Widow’s Bay has 19, coming in at third. And Pluribus and Beef come in at fourth and fifth, respectively, with 18 and 16 nominations.
Star Wars has been recognized by the Emmys on multiple occasions in previous years, with shows coming away from these celebrations with awards. Most recently, shows like Skeleton Crew, Ahsoka, and Andor, which won “Outstanding Writing,” have all received prestigious titles from the Emmys.
