To mark 30 years of InVigor hybrid canola, BASF Agricultural Solutions Canada is doing more, so to speak, for mental health in agriculture.
The ag retailer is collaborating with Saskatoon clothing company Prairie Proud to create a clothing line to celebrate 30 years with all proceeds going to the Do More Agriculture Foundation.
“InVigor has truly grown alongside Prairie farmers,” Mark Alberts, BASF’s senior brand manager for InVigor, said in the press release.
“And through this partnership with Prairie Proud, we want to thank growers for their continued support as we look to the future.”
The collection features retro-inspired InVigor designs across pullover sweaters, zip-up hoodies, t-shirts, and hats, in adult and youth sizes. The designs are specific to the Prairie region and are ones farmers are likely to recognize.

BASF has supported Do More Ag since 2024 by funding AgTalk, Do More’s peer-to-peer support network.
“We’re committed to supporting farmers, and that includes helping them on and off the field,” said Alberts.

Prairie Proud founder Cole Thorpe, who grew up in a rural farming community, said the company is excited about the partnership.
“I learned early on that agriculture is about far more than what happens in the field,” he said in the press release.
“It’s about the people, families and communities that work tirelessly to support and sustain an industry that feeds the world.”

BASF will be launching the InVigor x Prairie Proud collection at Ag in Motion from July 21 to 23.
Limited quantities will be available for purchase at the BASF booth (#502), as well as at the Prairie Proud booth located in the Scotiabank Farm Pavilion.
The apparel is also be available in limited quantities on the Prairie Proud website.
