Lady Ella was accompanied by her brother and sister-in-law, Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor, at the event. The pair were the picture of summertime elegance in white and pastel blue. Also joining the royals were the likes of the Marchioness of Bath in Carolina Herrera and Princess Olympia of Greece.
It was a similarly triumphant sartorial moment at Royal Ascot, where Lady Gabriella wore a custom ice blue creation by Claire Mischevani, the celebrated occasionwear label loved by Queen Mary of Denmark, Zara Tindall and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh. Lady Gabriella finished her look with another Aspinal of London handbag and Lizzie Fortunato earrings. In keeping with the famously strict Royal Ascot dress code, the entire outfit was topped with a beautiful white hat.

Lady Gabriella, known simply as ‘Ella’, has been embraced by the royal family following the death of her husband, Thomas Kingston, in February 2024. Indeed it was at Royal Ascot just two months after the tragedy that Lady Gabriella appeared in public, arriving alongside Princess Anne, and was pictured alongside Peter Phillips and the late Queen’s former racing manager, John Warren. The following year, she returned to the races, where she was spotted warmly embracing Zara Tindall, as well as laughing and chatting with the rest of the royal family.
