Meta’s Facebook and Instagram social networks appeared to suffer some outages on Sunday, with users globally reporting issues with the app and website.
According to DownDetector, there were thousands of reports filed by Facebook and Instagram users on Sunday morning, with 63 per cent of users facing issues accessing the website.
Meta did not immediately reply to a request for comment sent by email.
