She remembered Shannon as “truly one of one”, describing it as one of her “greatest blessings” that children True, 8, and Tatum, 3, had known their great-grandmother.

“You taught us that love never leaves. It lives on in the family you built, the traditions we’ll continue, the stories we’ll tell, and every time we choose joy. Your love will forever be woven into who we are.”
Kardashian, 41, went on to acknowledge her late father Robert in the post, revealing her grandmother had vowed to pass on a message to him.
The prominent lawyer died of oesophageal cancer in 2003 when Kardashian was 19, People reported.
“I know Heaven welcomed you with open arms, surrounded by everyone who has been waiting to see you again,” Kardashian wrote.
“And I know you kept your promise 🤍telling my daddy just how deeply we love him and how much we miss him.”
Several other family members have echoed the lasting impact of Shannon’s legacy.
Jenner wrote “there are no words” as she described her mother as “the heart of the family”.
“Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that love like yours never truly leaves us. Your love will live on in our family, in our traditions, in every moment we are together, and in every life you touched.”
Kim Kardashian shared a carousel of photos of her and “gossip buddy” MJ together, calling her “the woman who showed me what it meant to be a hardworking businesswoman”.
She had earlier been forced to defend herself to online critics after she posted a series of holiday snaps the same day as the announcement.
“This post was scheduled a few days ago before we lost MJ, so its timing came right alongside her passing,” she wrote in a comment on the post.
“I’ve been by my mom and grandma’s side this past week, and my heart is completely with my family right now.
“We love and miss her so deeply, and in the days ahead, we’ll be focusing on celebrating her beautiful life.”
