LEGENDARY FASHION HOUSE Christian Dior Haute Couture is set to stage a show in Ireland to launch its new collection later this year.
Northern Irish designer Jonathan Anderson will launch his pre-fall 2027 collection at Trinity College on 4 December 2026.
It will mark the first time Dior has ever staged a show in Ireland.
Announcing the show on Instagram, Anderson said he is “so excited and so proud” to show the collection in Dublin.
The son of a former professional rugby player and a teacher, Anderson’s first job after graduating from college was at Dublin’s luxury retail shop Brown Thomas.
Upon his appointment to the fashion house, he became the first single designer to oversee the brand’s womenswear, menswear, and haute couture divisions since Christian Dior himself.
In 2025, he was appointed as the artistic director of Dior, his debut collection was shown for Spring Summer 2026.
Anderson is known as a low-key figure, who often appears dressed casually at the end of his shows.

Most recently it was announced that he designed Taylor Swift’s wedding dress.
Before Dior, Anderson spent 11 years at Loewe, where he designed iconic looks, including the jumpsuit Rihanna wore for her 2023 Super Bowl half-time performance.
Anderson graduated from the London College of Fashion in 2005 and began his career in Prada’s marketing department before launching his own brand, JW Anderson, in 2008.
