CHICO, Calif. — The Chico Art Center is looking for a new Gallery Director to help shape the future of arts programming in the community.

According to the Chico Art Center, the Gallery Director will guide the exhibition program, work with local and regional artists, coordinate gallery installations, and support exhibitions and related events. The organization has supported artists and arts education in the region for more than 70 years.

The ideal candidate will have experience in the visual arts, gallery operations, exhibition planning, arts administration, or a related field. Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills are essential.

The position offers an opportunity to play an important role in Chico’s arts community. The Chico Art Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting local and regional artists, encouraging artistic activity and expanding access to the visual arts.
