Dabur India has elevated Binit Kumar as the head of marketing for its health supplements, hydration and baby care business, marking an internal leadership movement after his four-year stint leading the company’s oral care portfolio.

Kumar announced the move in a LinkedIn post, “I now move into my next chapter as Head of Marketing – Health Supplements + Hydration & Baby Care, leaving Oral Care stronger, more contemporary, and more trusted than I found it,” he wrote.

During his time in oral care, Kumar led marketing for brands including Dabur Red, Meswak, Herb’l Charcoal and Dabur BaeFresh. In his post, he highlighted campaigns that defined his tenure, including Chaubey Ji, which evolved from the #SabkoChabaaJaayenge campaign to Chaabaatey Raho across cricket, food and Bollywood; Desh Ke Laal, an Independence Day campaign that expanded into a year-round purpose platform and podcast; the Switch to Fluoride Free positioning; and IDA endorsement for Dabur Red.

He also referenced the #BlackForWhite campaign for Dabur Herb’l Charcoal, which featured Darth Vader as “Chief Innovation Officer”, describing it as an experiment that borrowed from global pop culture while retaining the brand’s identity.

Beyond the campaigns, Kumar thanked his managers, teammates, cross-functional teams and agency partners, including Ogilvy, McCann, Dentsu, L&M Worldwide, Disney India Consumer Products, and the Indian Dental Association, for their role in building the brands.

Kumar joined Dabur in April 2022 as DGM Marketing and P&L owner for the oral care business before becoming AGM Marketing. Before joining Dabur, Kumar worked at Zydus Wellness, where he managed the foods business, and previously held marketing and business roles at Coty and Procter & Gamble.
