In 2024, Fiddy released a promo video for his G-Unit brand’s new tracksuit line, but ’heads clocked something more interesting on his feet: a pristine pair of the G-Unit G6s. While rumours of the model’s return billowed throughout sneakerdom, things remained quiet… until May of this year. That’s when 50’s OG G-Unit crewmate Tony Yayo revealed on a podcast that ‘the sneakers are comin’ back’. (50 responded, ‘I can’t tell Yayo nothin’.’)
So, it’s true: the G-Unit G6 will be returning next month in the original blue/white/red colourway with grey suede toe, a silver ‘G6’ dubrae, ‘G-Unit’ embroidered on the heel in its true-to-logo script, and the ‘RBK’ logo in white on a royal blue outsole.
The Reebok G-Unit G6 will land August 20 via Reebok and select retailers for $130.
