Police are appealing for man who went missing from a hospital, who who may have a contagious health condition.

Dean Hesketh was last seen leaving the Royal Preston Hospital on Tuesday, July 28 at 11.16am.

The 51-year-old also goes by the names Tim, Dean or Anthony Gledhill. He is described as 5ft 4in, with black hair and blue eyes.

Dean is of a slim build and was last seen wearing a khaki green and black jacket, black trainers and a Lyle and Scott jumper, reports LancsLive.

Dean was also last seen wearing a surgical mask. He has links to Preston, Penwortham and Blackpool in Lancashire, England.

Enquiries are ongoing to find him, but police are growing increasingly concerned. The force warn not to approach Dean if he is spotted, as he may have a contagious health condition.

For any sightings of Dean, contact 999 as soon as possible to make sure he is safely found.
