Twelve South has launched its Valet series of stylish charging pads in two sizes. The smaller model can charge up to three devices, including a Qi2-compatible smartphone, while the larger version also provides space for additional items.

Twelve South has launched its so-called Valet collection. First shown at CES 2026, the charging trays are now officially available from the manufacturer in two sizes. The standard Valet is joined by the more compact Valet Small. The full-size Twelve South Valet is priced at $179 in the US, while the smaller version costs $129.

Both models combine smartphone charging with a minimalist design. Their surfaces are covered in Nappa leather, with black, ecru, and brown color options available. The removable outer frame can also be swapped to change the tray’s appearance.

The Twelve South Valet is 7.5 inches deep and provides space for a variety of items. Alongside wirelessly charging iPhones and AirPods, it can hold a wallet, watch, cards, keys, and other essentials, making it suitable for an entryway console table. At just 4.25 inches deep, the considerably smaller Valet Small takes up less space and is intended primarily for a nightstand, where it can charge compatible devices overnight.

A weighted zinc alloy base is designed to keep the charging tray firmly in place and includes integrated cable management. A 5-ft USB-C cable and power adapter are included. Both models charge compatible smartphones at up to 25 W via Qi2. AirPods and other devices can also be powered through an additional USB-C output that delivers up to 19 watts.

I have been fascinated by technology for around 25 years – especially technology that makes life easier rather than more complicated. Mobile devices such as laptops, smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches are particularly close to my heart as is the booming subject of smart homes. I have been working in these areas for several years now as a news and reviews editor. I have been active with various websites, including the smart home blogs homee, Nuki, and siio, as well as tech portals such as Giga and TechRadar. I have been writing news and laptop reviews for Notebookcheck since 2020.

My fascination for technology goes back a long way to the Pentium II era. Modding, overclocking and treasuring computer hardware has since become an integral part of my life. As a student, I further developed a keen interest in mobile technologies that can make the stressful college life so much easier. After I fell in love with the creation of digital content while working in a marketing position, I now scour the web to bring you the most exciting topics in the world of tech. Outside the office, I’m particularly passionate about motorsports and mountain biking.
