Though it might seem predictable, I certainly have a soft spot for a floral motif in the summer. It might just be my favourite style to look for, just behind classic linen pieces that curb the obnoxiously high temperatures outside, of course. I love a floral blouse – a great way to keep things cool on the commute when paired with chic, put together trousers – but I do enjoy going all in on a flattering, feminine motif, so a dress is usually my go to when I want to embrace blooms.
This year, the ditsy prints we’re used to have already been replaced by overblown, endlessly bold botanical motifs, featuring not only petals but leaves too, giving greenery its time to shine. But trends move fast, and while botanical prints are still popular, chic and incredibly stylish, I’ve started to notice a rather artistic take beginning to emerge.

The perfect summer occasion dress, the unique motif isn’t the only thing that makes this piece brilliant for moments where elevated dressing is key.
