Braden Counseling Center is excited to welcome Skip Dettman, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, to our Sterling, Illinois location!
Skip has been a long-term resident of the Sterling area and has served the community for many years. She brings a wealth of experience and specialized training to Braden Counseling Center, allowing us to expand the services available to individuals and families throughout the region. As the need for skilled licensed counselors increases across the area, Braden Counseling Center is growing to help meet those needs.
Her areas of expertise include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapy, which is highly effective in treating trauma, as well as substance use and addiction counseling, child and adolescent mental health, and a variety of other behavioral health concerns.
Skip earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Central Florida in August 2012 and is currently completing her doctoral degree in Social Work. In her free time she enjoys riding her bike, reading, gardening, and spending time with family.
