Rachel Gorry has revealed her touching plans to honour her late husband Daniel on her upcoming wedding day.

Rachell is set to marry her partner Adrien next year following his proposal last year.

The couple are parents to twins Ryan and Evie, who arrived in August 2025, while Rachel is also mum to daughters Leah, Holly and Hannah.

Rachel shares Leah, Holly and Hannah with her late husband Daniel, who died in 2020 following a battle with cancer.

Following Daniel’s death, Rachel never imagined she would find love again until she met Adrien, reports RSVP Live.

Gorry tragically lost her husband Daniel, had been battling oesophageal cancer since his initial diagnosis in 2018, on April 1, 2020

“I never thought I would get married again. I never thought I’d have more kids again, yet here we are. It’s crazy, isn’t it?” she said while discussing her wedding preparations.

Speaking to Evoke, she revealed: “Leah is going to read a poem, and oh my God, I can’t get through it without actually bawling my eyes out. And Daniel’s dad is walking me down the aisle.

“I think it will be an emotional day, like we are so looking forward to it but there will be that element..”

Rachel confirmed that it will be a large celebration.

“Yeah, we’re having a big wedding,” she said. “I didn’t do a big wedding the first time. Adrien wants to have everyone there and have a big party.”

She added: “We are going on a honeymoon. We haven’t anything booked but I would love to do something that you would never do again like the Maldives or something like that.

“We’re not bringing the kids so it will probably be the last time we will get away somewhere (together) so I’m like let’s go somewhere amazing.”

The comments come after Rachel shared an emotional tribute to Daniel back in June on what would have been their wedding anniversary.

In the lead-up to the anniversary, Rachel told her Instagram followers: “We got married on the 18th of June 2012.

“It’s hard to believe in 2 weeks we would have been 14 years married. Never take life for granted, grab it with both hands, I never dreamed that he would pass away in my arms nearly 8 years later at the age of 29.”

Posting a photograph from their wedding day, she wrote: “14 years ago today, we said, ‘I do.’ But life had different plans for us.

“Although you’re no longer here, the love we shared gave me the greatest gift of all our three beautiful daughters and in them, I get to see a piece of you every day, and for that, I will be forever grateful.

“I love and miss you so much, Happy Anniversary Daniel.”
