Oliver Plunkett Street gets a new, premium sweet shop on Monday with the opening of the first Munster outlet of the Irish owned Suger Plum Sweetery stores.

Refurbishment and decorating works have been going on for two months at their new Cork City store and now they are ready to throw open the doors to their in-house slection of chocs and sweets. You can treat yourself to Dubai chocolate frogs, toasted caramel s’mores bars or even a milk chocolate stilletto. If you’re more into sweets, they boast an impressive selection of jellies, including gluten-free and vegan options.

They say there will also be special offers and prizes for the first visitors to the store on Monday morning, from 11am.

Posting to social media they said; “The first 50 customers who make a purchase will receive a FREE goodie bag and one lucky customer will win a very special prize.”

Sugar Plum Sweetery was set up in Mullingar as a sister shop to Wholesome Kitchen, a health food-focused restaurant, as a way “To be able to offer their customers the full package for whatever they are looking for; naughty & nice delights with their most creative of creations…”
