- A source shared rare insight about Jennifer Garner and John Miller’s relationship.
- The couple was first romantically linked in 2018.
- The insider also explained why Miller is “completely comfortable” with Garner and her ex-husband Ben Affleck spending time together.
Jennifer Garner and CaliGroup CEO John Miller have kept their relationship mostly private since they first became romantically involved in 2018. But nearly a decade into dating, the couple is thriving. A source gave Entertainment Tonight rare details on their life together.
“Jen and John feel like their bond is unbreakable,” the insider said. “He’s helped her through so much, and she truly loves him. He’s the kind of guy you’d want your sister or best friend to be with—kind, dependable, and genuinely solid.”
Miller has no issues with Garner’s relationship with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, either. Garner and Affleck co-parent their three children, 20-year-old Violet, 17-year-old Fin, and 13-year-old Samuel.
“John is also completely comfortable with Jen spending time with Ben, and there’s never any jealousy,” the source explained. “Jen has always been clear that she wouldn’t be in a relationship where that wasn’t the case.”
Miller also “loves” Garner’s children while “respecting their space.”

The update comes one day after Miller and Garner were photographed walking their dogs in Brentwood, California, in one of their first public sightings this year.
In July 2025, a source spoke to People about their bond. Things between them were “better than ever,” the insider said. “[They’ve] hit a stride as a couple and those who know them say this is the most solid and connected they’ve ever been.”
“John has also embraced Jen’s family life,” the source added. “He’s been patient, supportive, and deeply respectful of her dynamic with Ben and the kids.”
