SPRINGFIELD, Ore. – The public can weigh in on PeaceHealth’s plan to build a new inpatient psychiatric hospital in Springfield.
A meeting is set for Sept. 1 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Springfield Utility Board boardroom at 223 A Street, Suite F. PeaceHealth will summarize its certificate of need application for the hospital, which would be built on International Way.
After the presentation, people can share their thoughts on the project. The certificate of need program aims to provide access to quality health care at a reasonable cost and control health care spending.
The meeting is open to anyone who wants to attend. For questions or to request help like sign language interpreters or materials in other formats, contact Matt Gilman at 503-979-9628 at least 48 hours before the meeting.
