Cork golfers have another place to work on their skills, a city centre bar has opened a fun new golfing simulator.
The Bodega on Cornmarket Street have launched its new SWING experience, an indoor golf area where players can take on virtual versions of courses from around the world.
And the pub has launched a new package deal, for an evening of golf with food and pints.
The Bodega’s SWING has TrackMan technology, which is used by thousands of golf pros, coaches, clubs, and manufacturers, as well as the world’s largest broadcasting companies, such as the Golf Channel, ESPN, BBC, NHK, and CNN World, to power their coverage of elite events.
Players can choose from more than 200 virtual courses, alongside a selection of golf games and challenges. Prices range from €40-80 and you can swing solo or play with up to four people. You can tee off from 10 am until late. Check out their deals HERE.

It comes after the launch of FLYTE Golf at the Marina Commercial Park, which has proven very popular. The purpose-built golfing simulator centre also uses TrackMan technology and has five bays.
Founders Ben and Rob also set up their own online ‘Trackman University’ offering qualifications in the use of the technology that offers everything from 360 degree analysis of individual swing and putting techniques to pixel-perfect simulations of some of the most famous courses, and holes, in the world.
Their full-course sims include Ryder Cup 2027 venue Adare Manor and the iconic Old Head of Kinsale.
