An Independent TD has accused the government of “ideological contradictions” for condemning the Taliban while maintaining “complete radio silence” over Garda intercultural training which recommends adhering to patriarchal social practices at home.
In a statement to Gript, Offaly TD Carol Nolan hit out at the government’s focus on international issues, claiming ministers have developed an obsessiveness that “borders on pathological narcissism.”
