Alan Cumming is ready to welcome a group of civilians to the Scottish Highlands castle for The Traitors: New Blood.

The NBC competition series is an all-civilian version of the hit Peacock competition of treachery and murder.

A trailer for the spinoff series has dropped, and you can watch it below for a sneak peek at the contestants taking on the challenge to uncover the Traitors before they get murdered.

When does The Traitors: New Blood premiere and when are new episodes going to be available?

NBC has set The Traitors: New Blood to premiere on Thursday, September 17, with a special two-hour extended premiere, with the first two episodes dropping starting at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

On September 24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the treachery continues with two more back-to-back episodes premiering.

Additional new episodes will continue to air on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and available to stream the next day on Peacock.

What is The Traitors: New Blood about?

The Traitors: New Blood is set at a castle deep in the Scottish Highlands. This nail-biting psychological adventure sees contestants work together on a series of exhilarating missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. Hidden among the Faithful are the Traitors, who murder the Faithful one by one under the cover of darkness as the Faithful race to uncover them in the game. At the end of the game, if the remaining Faithful banish every Traitor, they share the prize fund; if even one Traitor survives to the end, the Traitors take it all.

The Traitors is produced by Studio Lambert. Alan Cumming hosts and serves as executive producer alongside Mike Cotton, Sam Rees-Jones, Rosie Franks, Jack Burgess, Stephen Lambert, Tim Harcourt and Doran Azouelos.

The format was created and developed by IDTV in cooperation with RTL Creative Unit and is distributed by All3Media International, part of media and entertainment group, Banijay Entertainment.
