‘Hashemite Court extends its sincere congratulations and best wishes to Princess Iman and Mr. Jameel, as well as to Their Majesties King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein and Queen Rania Al Abdullah on this happy occasion.’

On Monday, Queen Rania shared photos of her and Abdullah meeting the newborns. ‘Thank God for your safe delivery, my dear Iman,’ she wrote in Arabic alongside a selection of touching family snaps on Instagram. ‘You have brightened the family; our joy has grown, and the blessings have multiplied. Congratulations to Iman and Jamil, and congratulations to my beloved Amina, the big sister.’

She added in English, ‘Healthy, happy, and finally here. We’ve been waiting so long to meet you, Talia and Rania. Congratulations Iman, Jameel, and sweet big sister Amina!’

It comes just weeks after proud grandmother Queen Rania of Jordan confirmed that her eldest daughter was expecting. She posted a sweet photo of Jameel holding Amina as the toddler reached out to touch Iman’s baby bump.

‘A new joy on the way… Congratulations to Iman, Jameel and my beloved Amina who is going to be a big sister,’ Queen Rania wrote in Arabic below the photo. ‘May Allah keep you safe and sound, Lord.’

In English, she added, ‘The grandchildren club is growing, and we couldn’t be happier for Iman, Jameel and soon-to-be big sister Amina.’

Queen Rania and King Abdullah II of Jordan are also grandparents to Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa’s daughter Princess Iman, named after her aunt, who was born in August 2024.
