The Avengers: Doomsday hype is already making its way to Marvel fans’ shopping carts. This Amazon-exclusive Black Panther collectible is currently a Number One bestseller on the retailer, and it’s available to preorder now. A Doctor Doom collectible tied to the upcoming Marvel movie is also up for preorder, making both characters timely additions for fans counting down to the MCU’s next massive crossover.
That’s especially true after Marvel unveiled its latest Avengers: Doomsday special look at D23 (the ultimate Disney fan event). The footage gives fans a closer look at Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom, who is positioned as the major threat facing heroes from across the Marvel multiverse. Shuri’s Black Panther also appears in the footage, alongside characters from The Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men.

The renewed attention on Black Panther comes at an interesting moment for the franchise. On July 25, Marvel announced that David Jonsson will become the next Black Panther in Black Panther 3, taking on the role of T’Challa II. The announcement signals a new chapter for Wakanda, while Letitia Wright’s Shuri remains part of the MCU’s immediate future through Avengers: Doomsday.
