Audacy AC “101.5 Lite FM” WLYF Miami has announced a new weekday lineup following the retirement of longtime South Florida radio personality Gayle Garton.

Ashley O. is named Music Director and midday host, while Jess Bonilla will host afternoons.

The changes follow Garton’s retirement after 34 years with the station. Garton was a longtime on-air personality who also served as Music Director and Assistant Brand Manager, becoming a prominent voice for South Florida listeners.

“Gayle’s impact goes far beyond the music she played or the hours she spent behind the microphone,” said Michelle Stevens, Brand Manager. “Gayle helped define what Lite means to South Florida, she’s our Matriarch and we are incredibly grateful for everything she has given our listeners, our station and our team.”

Stevens said the station intends to build on Garton’s legacy while bringing Ashley O. and Bonilla to the “Lite Team.”

Ashley O. previously hosted mornings on Audacy’s “104.3 The Shark” WSFS Miami and has held on-air and production roles at Cox Media Group’s crosstown soft AC “Easy 93.1” WFEZ and hot AC “Hits 97.3” WFLC. She also continues to host for Audacy’s LGBTQ+ network Channel Q, a role she began in 2025.

“I’m excited to host middays on Lite,” Ashley O. said. “I grew up listening to Gayle, and am honored they are passing the baton to me.”

Bonilla began her radio career in Detroit in 2000, initially working in promotions. She joined Audacy Orlando in 2002 and has held multiple positions with the company, including on-air host and Promotions Assistant.

Bonilla will continue hosting middays on Audacy hot AC “Mix 105.1” WOMX-FM in Orlando while adding afternoon drive duties at “101.5 Lite FM” in Miami.

“Afternoons in Miami? What could be better!” Bonilla said.
