Moby has been a household name with electronic and house music fans for decades. The Harlem songwriter rose to fame with his first single, Go, in 1991, which Rolling Stone listed as one of the best dance songs of all time.
He has produced and remixed with artists such as David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne and Daft Punk and has sold over 20 million albums worldwide.
The electronic musician is coming to Dublin as a part of his Moby Live 26 Tour.
When and where is it?
Moby will be performing at the Irish Museum of Modern Art (Imma), Royal Hospital Kilmainham, on Friday, August 21st.
What time should I arrive?
Gates open at 5pm with last entry at 9.30pm. The performance will start at 6pm.
Who is playing?
Opening for Moby will be English dance music band Faithless, with the renowned keyboardist and DJ Sister Bliss being one of its original core members.
Known for their individual and electronic and house sound, the group released their most recent album Champion Sound in 2025.
The band were voted the 4th greatest dance band of all time by Mixmag.
What songs will Moby play?
There is no publicly released set list for this event but Moby’s recent performance at the Old Royal Navy College in London can give us a hint as to what songs might be performed.

How do I get to and from the gig?
The Royal Hospital Kilmainham is just a 15-minute walk from Dublin city centre. Pedestrian access to the site is via East Gate, Military Road, Dublin 8. Outside of the Dart, Dublin’s other public transport services are operational this weekend, so consider taking the bus or Luas, as drivers may encounter traffic delays or parking shortages.
Travel by bus: Imma is just an eight-minute walk from Heuston Station, so you can choose between the 145 or C-Spine buses (C1, C2, C3 and C4) to get you within range of the site before entering via the Military Road gate. Alternatively, the 13, 73, G1 and G2 all go to St James’s Hospital, which is about the same distance from the festival entrance, though that walk includes steps; dublinbus.ie has timetable information.
Travel by train/Dart: Though Dart interruptions have been highlighted, Irish Rail is a great option for attendees from around the country. Heuston Station is just a short walk; irishrail.ie has more information.
Travel by Luas: The Luas Red Line also services Heuston Station, dropping passengers off a short walk from the Military Road entrance.
Travel by car: There is no parking at the festival site and traffic restrictions will be in place on Military Road and Kilmainham Lane. The nearest public car park is the Park Rite facility at 7 Queen Street, Dublin 7.

Tickets starting at €77 are still available on Ticketmaster.
What is security like?
This event is strictly over 18s. Bag searches and metal detectors will be in place at the entry gates. Bringing alcohol into the event and early queuing are not allowed.
Should I bring cash?
Do not bring cash as the events at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham are strictly cashless.
How is the weather looking?
Friday will be cloudy with short periods of rain. According to Met Éireann, temperatures will be between 13-15 degrees.
The Royal Hospital Kilmainham is an outdoor, standing venue, so make sure you bring comfortable and water-resistant footwear and consider a rain jacket or poncho alongside sunscreen.
