Sandra Bullock is spending quality time with her two kids this summer. On August 18, the actress shared a rare photo of her son and daughter in a new Instagram carousel.
“Friends, family, fun, fishies, furries, aaaand work,” Bullock, 62, wrote in the caption.

The third photo in Bullock’s slideshow saw 16-year-old Louis and 12-year-old Laila, both of whom are adopted. The two of them went for a stroll in the countryside, framed by a sunset and a forest of trees.
Last month, Bullock was spotted with her son days after her birthday on July 26. In pictures obtained by Backgrid, they were seen leaving their hotel in New York City.
Bullock wore a Favorite Daughter cashmere sweater, pairing the cozy V-neck with Alaïa’s mesh ballet flats and a leather tote from The Row. Louis, who already stands taller than his mom, opted for gray shorts and a black T-shirt, which he layered beneath a matching zip-up hoodie.

The Miss Congeniality star adopted Louis in 2010, followed by Laila in 2015. She raised her two kids with her longtime partner Bryan Randall, who passed away in 2023.
Speaking to People back in 2022, Bullock described her eldest child as a “crazy foodie” and a “mixologist.”
“There’s a science of food that’s happening, but everything is food-based for him,” she said.

Louis is also “super sensitive” according to Bullock. “I call him my 78-year-old son,” she joked in a 2018 interview with the same outlet. “He’s wise and kind. I saw that when they handed him to me. There was a spiritual bigness to him. I was like, ‘I hope I don’t eff that up.'”
In May, Bullock celebrated Mother’s Day by posting a sweet Instagram tribute to her children. She included a throwback photo from when they were little in her sentimental carousel, which also featured snapshots of her with her mom and grandmother.
“To all the mamas,” Bullock’s caption began. “No matter how you came to be, happy Mother’s Day. We are all bound by this honor of a lifetime. Mom and Omi, thank you for teaching me. We miss you.”
