Tralee’s business community is hailing what’s been a phenomenal festival week for the town.
Tralee Chamber CEO Colette O’Connor said some retailers are reporting sales up 10% on last year, while footfall was also up on recent years.
The Rose of Tralee International Festival, and the streets festival Féile Thrá Lí, both ran from last Friday 14th August to yesterday, Tuesday 18th.
Colette O’Connor praised the organisers of both for their hard work, and said the programme of events in the town had something for everyone.
She said Kerry has had a very good summer, which will help keep local businesses going through the next few months.
