World-renowned DJ Calvin Harris is taking a break from his Ibiza dual residency to play in Belfast for one night only.

The chart-topping producer behind hits such as Blessings, We Found Love, and One Kiss will headline Belfast Vital at Boucher Road Playing Fields on Saturday night.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of his Belfast Vital show.

When and where is the concert?

Calvin Harris is performing on Saturday, August 22 at Boucher Road Playing Fields. Doors open at 4pm, and the show is due to start at 5pm. Last entry is 9.30pm, but all times are subject to change.

No early queueing or overnight camping is allowed.

Support acts

Supporting acts for the DJ and producer feature Dublin-born dance sensation Jazzy, Co Tyrone DJ and producer Robbie Doherty, and emerging Northern Irish artist Tyson O’Brien.

Tickets

The highly anticipated show is sold out.

All ticket holders must be over 17 years old and valid ID is required.

There will be security checks on the door, so make sure you don’t have a bag larger than A4, or any glass, cans or flares.

How to get there

There is no parking near the venue. Road closures will be in place along Boucher Road and Stockman’s Lane.

If you are using public transport, the closest bus stop is the Boucher Playing Fields stop, which is located right beside the venue entrance. Services on this route include the 9A, 9B and 9E from the city centre, south and west Belfast.

Other nearby stops include Boucher Place, Boucher Way and Boucher Road.

If you are travelling by train, the Balmoral Station is the closest, with a 10–15-minute walk from there to the venue.

What is the weather forecast?

Saturday should see a cloudy day with some sunny spells and highs of 17 degrees, according to the Met Office. There is potential for some rain in the evening.

No umbrellas are permitted in the venue, so a reminder to bring suitable clothing for the weather.
