A county Dublin man has praised the emergency services for their response after his father suffered a heart attack locally.
Shane Rutledge’s father was on his boat with members of his family close to Albert Lough Marina, on the Leitrim and Roscommon border when the incident occurred.
Thankfully, due to the swift response, Shane’s father was treated at the scene before he was transferred by air ambulance to University Hospital Galway.
