Peacock’s rising costs got you down? Don’t worry, the boys of Big Brother 28 have got you. Houseguests Drew Campbell and Barrett Pfeiffer recreated the entirety of the film Obsession for their castmates, and the August 21 live feed caught it all.
Campbell was the breakout star of the reenactment, playing the juicier role of Nikki (Inde Navarrette) for most of their scene work. Pfeiffer played the more thankless part of Bear (Michael Johnston), as well as the majority of other parts. However, Pfeiffer does get to play Nikki during the murder of Sarah (Megan Lawless).
The BB28 cast is over a month into isolation right now, so it makes sense they’ve progressed to the “Let’s Put on a Show!” stage of stir-craziness. The season also started filming right before Obsession hit streaming, so Campbell and Pfeiffer’s housemates must be pretty thankful these two can dramatically recreate one of the summer’s hottest properties, à la Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play. Now do Backrooms.
