It’s the first time in Coscoran’s career that he’s reached a global outdoor final, having reached semi-finals in the past at both world and Olympic level. The final is scheduled for Wednesday night while he will also be in action in the 5000m later in the week.

Still, it was another solid showing from the experienced hurdler, who was ranked 28th in the world this year but finished 13th overall.
