Huawei Mate XT 2 is coming, and on the other hand, its previous siblings continue to rock globally after achieving more than 1 million units in sales. It looks like the predecessors are already in demand ahead of the newbie’s launch in the market.
A Weibo tipster reported that Huawei Mate XT and XTs tri-fold phones have made over 1 million units in sales globally. Despite a price tag of 20000 yuan, the devices have shown great performance in both home ground and outside China.
This move has also marked the demand for innovative folding phones rather than just book-type and flip-flop formats. The tri-fold devices have seen a gradual shift from “premiumness” to flagship and in-demand products.
