Caviar has launched the “Geiger,” a custom iPhone 17 Pro featuring a fully functional built-in Geiger counter. The luxury modification company embedded a physical SIG-RM1208 dosimeter watch into the back of the device, allowing users to monitor gamma radiation levels in their immediate environment.
Priced starting at $13,130 for the base 256GB iPhone 17 Pro, the Geiger replaces Apple’s standard glass back with a heavy-duty titanium shell. The design draws heavy inspiration from high-precision industrial equipment, using exposed screws, thick metal panels, and a red indicator line running down the center axis. A sculpted radiation hazard symbol sits near the bottom of the case, directly indicating the purpose of the built-in module.
Apple’s standard glass back is replaced with a rugged titanium shell that also houses an analog watch with a Swiss Ronda 763 movement.Production is highly exclusive and strictly limited to just seven units worldwide.
The central watch module is a legitimate Geiger-Müller counter rather than a software trick or companion app. It features a small digital screen that displays real-time radiation readings and can be configured to sound a warning beep if radiation exceeds a preset threshold. Surrounding the digital readout is a traditional analog watch face, driven by a Swiss Ronda 763 quartz movement to track the time.
The integration of a physical watch mechanism and heavy titanium casing adds significant bulk, making the customized smartphone noticeably thicker and heavier than a standard iPhone. The Geiger is highly exclusive, with production strictly limited to seven total units.
Each device will include its specific production number engraved on the chassis and ship with a personalized certificate of authenticity. Buyers can also opt for higher storage configurations or the larger iPhone 17 Pro Max model at an increased cost.

I’ve been obsessed with tech for as long as I can remember, so much so that I’ve become the unofficial “tech support” for my entire family. Whether it’s fixing gadgets, explaining specs, or recommending the best buys, I love breaking down tech for everyday people. That passion led me to writing about tech. When I’m not testing gadgets or writing reviews, you’ll probably find me hiking or doom-scrolling car listings (still hunting for my first ride, wish me luck, lol).
